Kingston is our beautiful clear cream boy and South African champion. We chose him as a tiny puppy, long before he was ready to join our family. For nearly two years we watched him grow, complete his training, and earn his South African championship, all while eagerly counting down the days until we could finally meet him in person.
Bringing Kingston home was truly a labor of love. The first transport service we hired couldn’t complete the job and refused to refund us. Although the additional expense was unexpected, we put together a second team because we couldn’t wait to bring our boy home. Because Kingston came to us as an adult, his transition required patience, time, and trust but through it all he was brave, and gravitated to love. He had to adjust not only to a new home, and new culture, but also to a new language. At first, he would study my face as if trying to understand every word. Over time, that became one of the things I love most about him. Kingston is deeply attentive and looks to me for reassurance and guidance. Even now, when the other dogs rush out the door, Kingston pauses and looks at me for reassurance. Kingston has a way of loving with his eyes, and when he looks at you, his gaze is so steady and sincere that it feels as though he’s looking straight into your soul. He is kind, soft-hearted, quiet, and a favorite of the ladies. He is small, low to the ground, has beautiful low set ears, and a beautiful coat. He has fathered some beautiful puppies who reflect his gentle loving nature and wonderful temperament. We feel incredibly blessed to have him as part of our program and our family.
