Thunder: A Legacy of Beauty, A Heart All His Own..

Thunder… what a love bug! It’s hard to put into words just how special this little guy truly is. He is everything I could hope for in a dachshund: beautiful structure, a gorgeous head, soulful eyes, an exceptional temperament, and the sweetest, most tender heart.

Thunder comes from an impressive lineage of show dogs and is the son of our very own Hunter, our foundation male and truly the heart and soul of our program. Thunder inherited so many of the qualities we treasure in his father, and then somehow added a little magic all his own.

He is incredibly loving, loyal, intelligent, and attentive. Thunder notices people. If someone is sick, hurting, down, or simply needs a little extra love, he knows it and stays close. He has alerted us during medical emergencies in the past, which speaks volumes about just how intuitive and deeply connected he is to his family.

At home, he is the perfect companion. He is gentle and polite, loves being a bed buddy, never tries to steal your food, and is happiest simply being wherever his people are and when there is business to attend to outside, Thunder takes his responsibilities very seriously, rain or shine! ❤️

Thunder isn’t just part of our breeding program. He is part of our family, deeply loved and treasured for the dog he is. His beautiful conformation and pedigree are certainly qualities we are proud to pass on, but even more important to us is his extraordinary temperament. If his puppies inherit his gentle spirit, loyalty, intelligence, and capacity to love, then he has given them something truly priceless.
